About the Fontologist

Fontologist, you ask? It comes from the Latin root "logist", which means "one who studies" and the American root "font", which means..."font." So a fontologist is a person who studies fonts. I suppose I could be generaly classified as such.

It also happens to be a very available online kind of name...probably due to the fact that its not a real word.

So I do like fonts, always have, always will. Though these days they've taken a backseat to the other things that occupy my time: mostly a CNBC lovin', ice-cream-and-pizza eatin', tax-returnin' man I call Brian (everyone else calls him that too) and our three children who eat cherry pits but not chicken and ask me how to say 'si' in Spanish. And if you add cookies and gardens and books and tea time with Jesus, a few real conversations with real people, and the spark of a new idea or piece of information then you've filled a perfectly wonderful day and it's time to start over again.

And then also, there's this blog. Which is mostly just an online journal because I have this condition where words or thoughts or ideas get stuck in my head and I have to let them out somewhere.
